Baking club will be hosting their February meeting on Tuesday after school in room 121. Please bring $5 if you would like to bake a tasty treat with us!

Interested in decorating cookies and making medical fact note cards for volunteer hours? Want to play a fun medical Jeopardy game for a chance to win some prizes? Join the Future of Medicine club this Wednesday, February 25th after school in room 232. Hope to see you there!

Time is running out for Seniors and Juniors to sign up for the Apprenticeship Breakfast, which is this Wednesday the 25th at Bradley High School. You’ll learn more about Apprenticeships as a career pathway, hearing from those who are part of it already, and even being allowed to start applying that day. Details are in the Announcements in your Class of Page on Canvas, but you can also reach out to Mr. Hunt if you need to learn more.

Seniors & Juniors who are looking for anything from a summer job opportunity to a paid internship can sign up to visit the Main Branch of the Columbus Library for the 4th Annual Internship & Opportunity Fair. This will be on Friday, February 27th, and we will take a bus to get there. More details and a sign-up link are in the announcements section of your “Class of” Page on Canvas, or you can reach out to Ms. V in the Media Center or to Mr. Hunt in a Canvas message if you want to discuss more.

Attention JUNIORS! If you are interested in learning more about the senior only programs at Tolles, come to an informational meeting in the PAC during your lunch period during 7th period on Friday, February 27th.

You can hear from people who are in an apprenticeship right now, and you can even work to get hired into an apprenticeship that day!! Here are your announcements for today:

The chess club is hosting a tournament today at 2:40 in room 143. All are welcome to come to the tournament, please scan a QR code on our instagram or on the ads on the TV’s throughout the school to sign up. 

The Knitting & Crochet Club will meet today after school in room 105. Beginners are welcome! If you have your own yarn and hooks/needles, please bring them. A limited amount of supplies will be available to borrow for anyone who wants to try it out.

The freshman/ sophomore play for this year is called The Alibis. A murder has taken place and investigators are trying to figure out who did it, although every suspect has an alibi, usually them committing other crimes during the time of the murder. Come see the show this Thursday and Saturday at 7pm and Sunday at 2pm.

If you have ever wanted to perform a song, dance, music piece, scene, or any other special talent of yours in front of your friends and family, audition for our drama club cabaret. Audition information is posted on Mr. Shaffer’s door in the choir room and initial auditions are due on google forms by Sunday night. All are welcome to participate!

Congrats to our Davidson swim team, who had an outstanding showing at Sectionals this past weekend, with huge time drops and tons of personal‑best swims! Several athletes have advanced to the District meet at Ohio University this Saturday. District Qualifiers include:
Colin Pelecky, Brody Jasper, Macie Arnett, Laken Wenclewicz, Avery Loudon, Hannah Jasper, Lila Brunner, Nola Schiebel‑Washington, Eva DiRienzo, and Lily Glover, along with our qualifying relay teams. Great job, swimmers, and good luck at the Central District meet at Ohio University this Saturday, February 21st!

Reminder: The Environmental Club is meeting after school TODAY, Tuesday 2/17, in room 216 after school. See you there!

Sophomore Student Council will be sponsoring a pop tab drive to donate to the Ronald McDonald House during the month of February. Each 3rd period class will have a baggie to collect tabs. The winning third period class will win donuts! Save those Alani and Monster Tabs!

Our February Spanish Club gathering will be today after school in the commons! We will be celebrating Carnaval with food and games. We will also be collecting donations for Corazon Deshilado (pronounced des-eee-lado) during our meeting . If you bring a donation you will be entered into a raffle for a $25 gift card. Plan to attend and bring a friend – everyone is welcome!

This week Spanish Club is collecting non-perishable food items and personal hygiene items to support those in times of crisis via Corazon Deshilado (pronounced des-eee-lado). There will be a donation box outside of Ms Speakman’s room room 227 all week this week – bring in items such as beans, rice, canned fruits and vegetables, diapers and wipes. We appreciate your support in helping our community! We will also be collecting donations at our February Spanish club meeting on Tuesday, February 17th after school.
