Help Your Student Plan What’s Next: SchooLinks & Career Connected Learning

SchooLinks is the Career & College Exploration platform available for Hilliard City Schools students in grades 6-12.
Each year, students have various tasks that are part of their Career Connected Learning journey. These range from surveys that help them explore things that may be of interest to them in the future, all the way to signing up for field trips where they can meet with professionals in a number of career fields to network or even jump right into the workforce.
Right now, every parent can ensure they’ve updated their child’s Home Access Information, which includes a sign-off waiver for their student to attend out-of-building events. If you want a step-by-step process to do that, you can click here.
Sometimes there are event-specific permission forms needed in order for a student to attend. When a student signs up for an event, parents automatically receive an email from SchooLinks to mention any details needed. Please add moc.skniloohcs@ofni to your “safe sender” list so that these notifications don’t go to your junk or spam folders.
The district’s College Counselor, Trevor Maggied, sends a Career & College Newsletter through Parent Square each week to middle and high school parents with important dates and upcoming events. In addition, each of the three Hilliard high schools have a Graduation & Pathways Coach who is dedicated to helping your child get TO graduation, and THROUGH it with a meaningful plan for after receiving their diploma.
