Here are your announcements for today:

Attention Chipotle lovers – head out to Mill Run Chipotle this Wednesday between 5pm and 9pm to support the Spanish Club. Be sure to show the flyer to help our Spanish Club get back some of the proceeds. The flyer can be found on HDV instagram and on the TVs around the school. 

Asian Youth Alliance will have our January meeting on Thursday the 15th! We hope to see you there!

Come and see the theatre program’s newest production, The Curious Savage, this weekend. Performing on Friday and Saturday at 7pm and Sunday at 2pm. The plot centers around an old lady who is forced into a mental institution by her kids after she hid 10 million dollars worth of bonds. While there, she meets a group of people who live there to protect themselves from the outside world, all with their own personalities and traumas.

Chess Club’s next tournament is Thursday, January 22nd at 2:40 in Room 143. All are welcome! Register using the QR codes around the school or on our Instagram.

Senior Student Council Members are hosting a Blood Drive on Thursday, January 22nd in the main gym. Each unit of blood donated saves 3 lives! Anyone that is at least 16 can donate. If you are 17 you don’t need a parental permission slip. See Mrs. Rader in 207, talk to a senior member of Student Council or look for the QR codes in classrooms or on the hallway TVs to sign up. 

Attention students! Get ready for a trip to Ireland in June 2027! We will travel to Dublin, Galway, and Killarney—and see the Cliffs of Moher and the Blarney Stone. Make memories that last far beyond high school. If you’re interested, attend the required parent meeting on Tuesday, January 27 at 7 p.m., located in Mrs. Short’s Classroom (Room 125) at Davidson High School. You can enter through the A15 Doors by the bus parking on the Davidson side of the school. Reach out to alice_short@hilliardschools.org with any questions.

Intramural basketball starts this Sunday, January 11th in the field house from 9am to noon. The schedule will be posted by the end of the school day on Thursday. This is the LAST day for submitting a roster! Please submit it no later than 2:32. Captains will get a message through student square with the schedule for Sunday! See Mrs Cannistra or Mr Frymier with questions.

Attention seniors: there are a ton of scholarships in School Links that are available to apply for if you’re into free money for college! Specifically, Dots Tots Foundation will be giving away over $10,000 in scholarships to Bradley, Darby and Davidson seniors and the deadline to apply is TOMORROW! Head on into your School Links account and apply if you are interested.
