Parents / Students:  If a student has a zoom/in-building appointment with an outside source, and they will be staying in the building for this, they still need a parent permission note for missing class(es).  This is the same procedure as though they are leaving the building.  They will need to sign out and back in at the Attendance office to make sure they get excused.  It can be reported in School Messenger, or an email, hbrattendance@hboe.org, or give your student a note to give the attendance office.

If we don’t receive notification from parents, the student will be unexcused.

Model United Nations Club will be selling stickers and handmade crochet hearts for keychains this week during lunch– please support your fellow students as they will represent Bradley at a statewide conference in December.

Help Key Club distribute gratitude notes to all teachers and staff on Monday, November 15.  Meet in the Media Center after school.

Bring non-perishable food items or personal care products for the Food Drive, which is being held in conjunction with Interact Club.  Your name will be put in a drawing for every item donated!  Items can be dropped off in Ms. Worth’s room in B271 or Mrs. Buergel’s room in B162. Thanks for your help!

Attention Students!

Students grades 9-12 interested in information on West Point – United States Military Academy, please see Mrs. Wintrich in the guidance office (student services) to sign up to attend a visit from them on Tuesday, November 23rd, 10:30-11:30am.

JOIN WINTER GUARD!  There will be an informational meeting for all students interested in joining the award-winning Bradley Winter Guard Program Tuesday, November 16th, at 6pm, in the Bradley Band Room (PA 125).  All students and their parents are welcome to attend to learn more about Winter Guard.  No prior experience is required.  We look forward to seeing you there!

You can still join the student leadership group, E Pluribus Unum, Out of Many, One. In E.P.U., we meet during the school day. We are examining concepts of identity, diversity, justice and action, as well as consider the positive power of inclusion so that everyone has a place and a voice at the table. Permission forms are in the main office and you can contact Ms. Monseur Durr with questions. Consider participating in this leadership opportunity because your voice matters!

Students/Parents:  When a parent is dropping off something for their student, we will let the parent in to the vestibule to drop the item off on the table.  Please make sure there is a name on it (pen and sticky notes are provided), and that the student is aware it has been dropped off.

Parking tags for this year:  If you have registered your vehicle, please come to the Main Office to pick up your parking tag.

Bus notes:  At this time, transportation is not allowing students to ride home with a friend.  We will let you know if this changes.

NO Change or vending machine refunds:  The office does not have change or refunds.  For refunds, you will need to call the number on the machine.

NO Food deliveries:  Remember that no food deliveries are allowed during the school day.

BRADLEY CLUBS INFO:

Chess Club will have its first meeting on Tuesday, November 16th, in the Aux Commons.  Chess Club meetings will allow you to test your skills against other Bradley students.  If you are new to chess or want to improve, we will have a lesson every week on basic strategy.  All are welcome!  Until we have more chess sets, please bring your own.
