MS SPORTS UPDATE- Aug. 3rd

We have new guidance on non-contact sports from the District earlier today. Here are the details we have for GOLF, CROSS-COUNTRY, & TENNIS. All non-contact outdoor sports may start on Aug. 5th, this Wednesday. Please make sure as parents and athletes you have your COVID Waiver completed before you come to practice and also have a valid physical on file in our athletic department.
GOLF— Tryouts on Wed. Aug. 5th- Noon @ National Road Golf Course
Tryouts on Thurs. Aug. 6th- 8:30 AM @ Thornapple Golf Course
Players should arrive 30 minutes before start time and have the 9 hole green fees paid in the pro-shop. National Road GC cost = $11.50
Thornapple GC cost = $13.75
CROSS-COUNTRY— First workout will begin this Wednesday from 8-9:30. Each athlete must have their own water bottle as we are still not allowing student-athletes in the buildings or locker room access. Meet at the entrance to the Weaver track. Coach Miller will have details on times for remainder of the week and beyond.
TENNIS— Times have not change nor location. Practice will be from 9-11 AM meeting at the Davidson HS Tennis courts for workouts.
