The Hilliard City Schools will be closed Monday, March 2, 2026, due to weather.   All elementary events are canceled.  Middle School and High School Coaches and Advisors will contact students about their events.  SACC will be closed.

Hilliard City Schools invites K–8 families to attend an upcoming College Savings Meeting hosted by Hilliard College Counselor Trevor Maggied. This informative session is designed to help families better understand how to plan and save for college—no matter where you are in the process.

The meeting will take place on Wednesday, January 14 at 6:30 p.m. at Hilliard Darby High School. Childcare will be provided.

Families will hear from J.D. Archer, CFP® and Sara Canterbury, CFP® of Rider + Reinke Financial Group, who will lead a discussion on a variety of college funding strategies, including:

• Before college: college savings accounts, cash savings, scholarships, grants, and other options

• During college: student loans, parent loans, and work-study programs

Presenters will review the pros and cons of each option, highlight potential pitfalls to avoid, and share practical information to help families make informed financial decisions. A brief Q&A session will follow the presentation.

This session is a valuable opportunity for families looking to plan ahead and better understand the resources available to support their student’s future educational goals.

As part of our strategic planning, we are renewing our focus on graduation rates and post-graduation readiness, as well as readiness in literacy and mathematics. Whether our students choose college, career, or military service, we want them to leave Hilliard City Schools with the skills, confidence, and experiences they need to thrive.

This moment is both a celebration and a call to action. We celebrate the dedication of our staff, the resilience of our students, and the ongoing support of our families. And we recommit ourselves to ensuring every student graduates ready for the future.

Hilliard City Schools is upgrading the system we use in our school cafeterias. This change will help families better manage their child’s meal account.

Because of this upgrade, parents will need to **set up new automatic payment options** through the MyPaymentsPlus website. Any deposits made using the old setup will not go into your child’s meal account.
