About Mrs. Bope

Mrs. Kristina Bope has been a part of the Hilliard Schools family since 2015, serving as a Special Education teacher at Ridgewood, Intervention Teacher at JW Reason and began serving as principal of Britton in the fall of 2024.  Her educational background includes a Bachelor’s degree in Education from Ohio University, along with Intervention Specialist License and a Masters in Educational Leadership and Principal Licensure from Notre Dame College.
Mrs. Bope was born and raised in Hilliard, and she shares in the pride we all have for our schools. With three children of her own in our district and a husband who is a Hilliard teacher, she understands firsthand the importance of fostering a supportive and nurturing environment for our students, staff, and families.
Mrs. Bope believes in the power of strong relationships, high expectations, and meaningful learning experiences. She is eager to work alongside our dedicated staff, supportive families, and engaged students, to build a culture of excellence and respect.
Outside of school, Mrs. Bope loves spending time with her husband and three girls, reading, hiking and going on family trips.
About Mrs. Jeckavitch
Mrs. Whitney Jeckavitch has been with Hilliard City Schools since 2012 and came to Norwich as principal in January 2025.  She holds a Master’s degree in Educational Administration from The Ohio State University and a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from Kent State University.
Before becoming principal at Norwich, Mrs. J served as the building Intervention Teacher at Avery Elementary, where she focused on improving student outcomes through data-driven teaching practices and inclusive classroom environments. Prior to that, she also taught several grades K-3 at JW Reason Elementary.
Mrs. Jeckavitch believes strongly in fostering a positive school culture where every student feels valued, supported, and empowered to succeed. She is passionate about building strong partnerships with families and the community to support student growth both in and out of the classroom.
Outside of school, Mrs. Jeckavitch enjoys reading, boating, and spending time with her husband and two children, who also attend Hilliard City Schools. The Jeckavitchs are big Disney fans.
