The 7th grade football team played to an exciting 20-20 tie with a very good Marysville Bunsold team.  Job Hickey hooked up with Drew Painter on 2 long touchdown passes.  Hayden Buckley scored on a 2 point conversion pass from Hickey.  The Cats drove 65 yards in a little over 1 minute with key receptions from Riley Johnson and Cam Metzger.  Hickey Kept on a quarterback sneak behind Beckett Walsh with 5 seconds to play to tie the game.  The Wildcat defense played hard and came up with some key stops.  Great game and great job cheerleaders.

The 8th grade football team wrapped up their season last night losing to Marysville 8-18. The cats left it all out of the field but came up short in the end.  Caiden Wilson, Charlie Williams, James Tarantine, and Andrew Lewis led the ground attack while the offensive line played a strong game.  The defense had a great game and recovered a fumble in the first half.  Cooper Walsh and Adam Jashan had key blocks, setting up Davis Schmidt’s touchdown run in the 4th quarter.  Great team effort and great job cheerleaders!

7th and 8th grade football players don’t forget to wear your T-Shirts tomorrow for the pep assembly and we will dress up for our recognition on Wednesday night at 7:00 in the main gym.  Go Cats!
