  • The Eighth Grade Girls basketball team opened its season last night with an outstanding victory. The Lady Cats defeated Lancaster Uwing 34-22. Gwen Jenkins led the scoring with 23 points and Abby Lahmers added 8. The Lady Cats go on the road tonight against Brookpark. Good luck ladies!!
  • The Flex Boys Basketball Team beat McCord Middle School yesterday, 31-23. Great job gentlemen!
  • The 7th and 8th grade boys basketball teams play their first home game TODAY! All students who come with a Weaver ID will be admitted for free! It is a white out, so please wear white and come support your Cats! The 7th grade game starts at 5pm and the 8th grade game starts at 6:00!
  • Black Friday, Small Business Saturday, Cyber Monday and now No Cook Tuesday— okay, we made that one up, but it sounds good! This Tuesday night is the spirit night for Norwich Elementary at Grandad’s Pizza. Norwich will get a portion of ALL sales on Tuesday. You do not need to show them anything, just let them know you’re with Norwich! Dine in, carry out and delivery all count! So if you’d like, make Grandad’s Pizza your dinner TONIGHT!
  • Make sure to turn in your permission slips to the guidance office for the December 10th Women in Technology activity @ Davidson.
  • Students who have been identified as Gifted: If you are interested in attending a Gifted and Talented Camp @ Ohio Wesleyan University this coming June, please pick up information and an application in the guidance office.
  • December 18th – deadline for Mad River online registration! There’s still room, and still time to sign up! No experience is needed. Full details about the club are here bit.ly/wmssbc2020. Paper copies are in the WMS main office and outside Mr. B’s office room 210. Ski & Board Club begins the first Thursday we are back to school in January.
