Video Announcements

The 8th Grade Girls Volleyball Team upset 12-2 and 4th ranked Worthingway in 3 games! Sofia Ferricci had some fantastic passes, Evelyn Collins had two key blocks and the rest of the team played crazy good defense. Great Job Ladies!

Girls Basketball Announcement: There will be open gym on Monday nights from 7:30-9:00 pm at Davidson starting next Monday 9/30 for girls interested in playing basketball at Weaver.  Dates are Sept 30, Oct 7, Oct 14 and Oct 21.

Tryouts for Weaver 7th, 8th, and Flex girls basketball will begin on Monday, Oct 28 from 3-5 pm at Weaver. Please see Coach Klie or Coach Atkinson with questions.

Pulp Smoothie will be here today. $5.

The Weaver Ski & Board Club informational meeting will be Wednesday, October 9 at 7:00 PM in the Weaver Commons. No experience is needed! Come learn to ski and board! Full details about the club will be available at the meeting, and will also be here on the Weaver web site the following day. Ski & Board Club begins the first week we are back to school in January. The Weaver Food Pantry now has a Sign-Up link on the WMS Links page. If you or your family is in need of extra food in the evenings, please fill out this online form. Ms. Santagata will get the food to you by the end of the day or week depending on when the request is made. Use the WMS Links button on your iPad to get to this form.

Attention 7th grade leadership academy: All leadership agreements are due to either Mr.Swallie or  Madame Zenitsky by this Friday, October 4th. Don’t forget!!!

If you are an 8th grade student attending the Washington DC trip and would like the opportunity to be chosen as one of the 4 students to lay the wreath at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, get your essay into your 8th grade social studies teacher.  Essays should be 100 to 150 words written on paper, explaining why you should be chosen to lay the wreath.  You may include leadership positions and family involvement in the military in your essay.  Essays need to be turned in to an 8th grade social studies teacher by the end of the day on Monday October 7th.  If you are taking social studies at the ILC or HUB, see Mr. Baker, Mr. Atkinson, Mr. Bell, or Mr. Farrell for more information.
