Dear Hilliard Darby High School Families,

The Hilliard Division of Police received a report on Friday evening that a threat of violence at Hilliard Darby High School had been seen circulating on the social media platform, Snapchat.

An aggressive investigation into this matter is in process and all resources will be utilized to find those responsible for circulating the threat. Based upon the investigation, there is no credibility to this reported threat.

HPD and the Hilliard City School District will continue to partner closely to ensure the safety of our community.

We are working together to identify the individual(s) responsible and will seek prosecution of anyone who threatens or seeks to spread fear within our schools and community. We share a zero-tolerance stance regarding this behavior.

We ask that if threat information is seen on social media that it not be shared with others, but reported to police. Anyone with information is urged to contact the Hilliard Division of Police at 614-876-7321.

Dr. John Marschhausen, Superintendent
