Provides information about military benefits, deployments, reintegration, moves, parenthood, retirement, and more.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/ourmilitarykids.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\">Our Military Kids:<\/a>\u00a0A 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization created to provide support (grants) and recognition to military children. Grants pay for participation in activities that help children cope with stress and anxiety while their parents are recovering or absent.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/ohio4h.org\/statewide-programs\/ohio-military-kids\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\">Ohio Military Kids:<\/a>\u00a0 A support network for military youth who experience a loved one\u2019s deployment. It provides recreational, social, and educational programs for military youth in civilian communities geographically dispersed throughout the state.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/bluestarfam.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\">Blue Star Families:<\/a>\u00a0An organization committed to strengthening military families by connecting them with their neighbors to create vibrant communities of mutual support.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/education.ohio.gov\/Topics\/Other-Resources\/Family-and-Community-Engagement\/Supporting-Ohio-s-Military-Families\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\">ODE \u2013 Supporting Ohio\u2019s Military Families:<\/a>\u00a0Information on a number of Ohio programs to assist military families.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.militaryfamily.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\">National Military Family Association:<\/a>\u00a0Provides information and resources related to services and programs for military families.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/tutor.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\">Tutor.com:<\/a>\u00a0No-cost, on-line tutoring and homework help, 24\/7 for US Military and their families. Click on \u201cUS Military\u201d on the top banner on the page.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/hilliardschools.org\/ms\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/03\/Military_Document.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\">Educational Resources For Military Connected Youth<\/a>\u00a0\u2013 This is a PDF file of resources gathered by the Ohio National Guard, Family Readiness and Warrior Support, published in November 2019.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/sesameworkshop.org\/our-work\/what-we-do\/military-families\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\">Sesame Workshop:<\/a>\u00a0Child-friendly resources for military families \u2013 helping kids face the challenges of military family life.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.redcross.org\/get-help\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\">American Red Cross:<\/a>\u00a0Emergency communication for military families, financial assistance, referral services, deployment support, and services.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.veteranscrisisline.net\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\">Veterans Crisis Line:<\/a>\u00a0Connects veterans in crisis and their families and friends with qualified, caring Department of Veterans Affairs responders through a confidential toll-free hotline, online chat, or text. Veterans and their loved ones can call 1-800-273-8255 and Press 1, chat online, or send a text message to 838255 to receive confidential support 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. Support for deaf and hard of hearing individuals is available.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.health.mil\/Military-Health-Topics\/Centers-of-Excellence\/Psychological-Health-Center-of-Excellence\/Real-Warriors-Campaign\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\">Real Warriors:<\/a>\u00a0A multimedia public awareness campaign designed to encourage help-seeking behavior among service members, veterans, and military families coping with invisible wounds.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.petsforvets.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\">Pets for Vets:<\/a>\u00a0Pairs veterans with shelter dogs that are specially selected to match the veterans\u2019 personality.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.vettix.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\">VetTix:<\/a>\u00a0Their mission is to provide tickets to events which reduce stress, strengthen family bonds, build life-long memories and encourage service members and veterans to stay engaged with local communities and American life.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.madisontrust.com\/client-resources\/articles\/financial-resources-for-veterans-and-military-families\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\">Financial Resources for Veterans and Military Families<\/a>\u00a0\u2013 Veterans and their families can face unique financial challenges, from the strain of coping with deployments, relocations, and other times of transition to the difficulty of planning for retirement. However, many organizations, agencies, and programs have sprung up to support those who serve and their loved ones by offering financial assistance and other resources.
