Weekly Announcements: May 3 – May 15

The top MS track athletes in the state of Ohio will be competing May 16th at the Middle School State Track Meet at Darby HS. Track is the only middle school sport with a state championship that is sanctioned by the OHSAA. Over 600 middle schools are eligible to compete, and to get in, you have to be in the Top 32 performers from the entire state (Top 16 in each division). HMS qualified 11 athletes to run in Saturday’s meet, the most ever! Wish them luck on Saturday!

Girls 4x200m Relay – Skye Hoes, Reese Mizer, Ruby Kramer & Leilani Lane – Ranked 7^th

Girls 4x400m Relay – Addalyn Adams, Lauren Gerschutz, Leilani Lane & Ruby Kramer – Ranked 5^th

200m Hurdles – Addalyn Adams – Ranked 6^th

Shot Put – Courtney Holman – Ranked 1^st

Boys 4x200m Relay – Princeton Jones, Graham Scheid, Maddox Hart & Zavier Hunter* – Ranked 3^rd

*Alternate- Anderson Gigliotti

High Jump – Zavier Hunter – Ranked 1^st

400m Dash – Maddox Hart – Ranked 10^th
