2018-2019 School Year 7th Grade Orientation- Jaguar Jump Start
MMS will be holding an orientation for incoming 7th graders, called Jaguar Jump Start, on August 14, 2019. Jaguar Jump Start will be a special program just for students entering the  7th grade and will take place  from 1:00 – 4:00 pm.  This orientation will be primarily led by a  group of  8th grade Jaguar Ambassadors that will act as mentors and tour guides. Parents will drop students off at MMS at 1:00, and will return for a parent meeting in the main gym from 3:30 – 4:00.

Jag Days Open House – All MMS 7th and 8th graders, and their parents, are invited to our Jag Days Open House on August 14, 2019, from 4-7 pm.  At Jag Days Open House, students can pick up their class schedule, check out their locker, receive their school issued iPad, get information on school clubs and activities and more.  In addition, MMS staff members will be in their classrooms to meet and greet both students and parents, as well as provide information about their classes for the year.  Students and parents will be able to walk around school, check out their classrooms and meet their teachers.  This will be a great opportunity for all students and parents to welcome in the 2018-2019 school year.

School Pictures/Student ID’s
Our school photographer, HR Imaging, will be mailing a pre-printed school picture flyer to each student’s home.  Please look for it.  Students and/or parents should bring their pre-printed flyer/envelope to Jag Days Open House, August 14 and get their picture taken, even if you are not planning on purchasing pictures. It will serve as the camera card and save time in line.  All students will be photographed for their ID. 7th graders can get their pictures taken from 4:00 – 5:30. And 8th graders can get their pictures taken from 5:30 – 7:00. The make-up date for school pictures is Thursday, August 15 from 9:00 – 12:00. Parents can also check shop/hrimaging.com for picture purchasing options.
