JW Student Needs Your Help in Google Doodle Contest

JW Reason student Stephanie Sipe had the best answer in the state of Ohio to a Google question, ‘When I Grow Up I…’ In Art this spring the students submitted artwork for a Google Doodle contest. You can read more about the contest in the Columbus Dispatch.

But the contest isn’t over and now Stephanie and JW Reason need your help! Online voting will determine finalists in each of five grade groups. Google executives then will vote on a single national winner. Public voting runs Monday through June 7 online.

In addition to the national winner’s doodle being displayed on Google’s homepage for a day, the winner also receives a $30,000 scholarship. Also, the winner’s school will receive $50,000 for technology initiatives.

Please take time this week to vote, and share this information so everyone in the state can help vote for Stephanie and JW Reason!
