ILC Students Win at Regionals

Academy INC students at regionalsWe want to share some exciting news regarding our Academy INC students. The students compete in a variety of competitions through the student club called Business Professionals of America (BPA). A few weeks ago, our Academy INC students competed at the Regional level.

Congratulations to the following students for their accomplishments:

Fundamental of Accounting – Tyler Hunt, a Bradley Junior, placed 1st and qualified for States

Payroll Accounting – Teresa Wagner, a Bradley Junior, placed 1st and qualified for States

Banking & Finance – Nate Adkins, a Darby Junior, placed 1st and qualified for States

Economic Research Team – Yash Somani, a Darby Senior, and AJ VanVoorhis, a Davidson Junior, placed first and qualified for States

Entrepreneurship – Capell Miller, a Bradley Senior, placed 1st and qualified for States

Medical Office Procedures – Gabe Simon, a Davidson Freshman, placed 2nd and will be joining the Econ Research Team at the State Level.

This is the highest number of ILC students to compete and the most to move on to States. We are extremely proud and wish them all the best at the next round of competition.
