Breakfast and Lunch Options in eLearning and Hybrid
Meals will still be provided in Hilliard Schools to cover scheduled school days when students are learning from home, during e-learning and hybrid modes and for Online Academy students. We are starting this program immediately, please check our 2020-21 School Year Information page for any updates.
Students in e-Learning or the Online Academy will receive bags covering breakfast and lunch for the week. The bags will be given out at all Hilliard Schools. Students who are eligible for free or reduced-price lunch will receive meals free of charge. All other students will be charged the normal breakfast and lunch prices for the weekly meals – $3.75 per day for elementary and $4.00 per day for high school. Per week that will be $18.75 at elementary and $20 per week for high school students.
Meal pickup will be available from 9:30 to 11:30 in our elementary, sixth, and middle schools. Our high school pick up times are from 9:30 – 1:30 pm. Parents who want to take advantage of this service should pick up at the building attended by your oldest student. Please observe this pickup schedule, based on the first letter of the parent’s last name:
- Monday – A & B;
- Tuesday – C through G;
- Wednesday – H through L;
- Thursday – M through R;
- Friday – S through Z.
Online Academy students should pick up at their middle or high school. Elementary OA students should go to the middle or high school they will attend in the future.
When the district is in Hybrid Mode, parents who want to take advantage of meals for their students when they are learning at home can have meals sent home with their child on days they are at school.
Evening Pickup – We are giving parents with scheduling issues a late pickup option on Tuesdays at Bradley HS until 6pm. We just ask that they call Brenda Creske at 614-921-7490 so we have an idea of how many to be prepared for.
