We are proud to be a\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/education.ohio.gov\/Topics\/Other-Resources\/Ohio-Network-for-Military-Families-and-Veterans\/Purple-Star-Award\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\">Military Purple Star Award School<\/a>!<\/p>\n<p>Hilliard Davidson High School also acknowledges and celebrates our military families and military history in several ways, including:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Veterans Appreciation Night at our high school football and basketball games<\/li>\n<li>Veterans Day events<\/li>\n<li>Military Honoree Board<\/li>\n<li>Military Signing Event<\/li>\n<li>Fundraising drives for military-related organizations such as Honor Flight<\/li>\n<li>Military Information Night<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr \/>\n<h3>Student \/ Family Military Affiliation Survey (linked below)<\/h3>\n<p>Ohio was the first home of the Purple Star (Military) child, family, educator, school, and community. We recognize the ranks of the Armed Forces in Active Duty, Reserve Duty, and National Guard Uniform. We include the status of the veteran\u2019s family, and siblings attached to service in the Armed Forces. We honor the affiliated civilians, contractors, educators to the bases and installations of the Armed Forces. Each and every Ohio community has committed educators, resources, stakeholders, veterans, and support for those who serve the United States of America and those within the dedicated mission. The Military (Purple Star) child is connected to all which comprises a community, culture &amp; environment. This child is challenged, equal, resilient, and like no other\u2026Ohio will support each and every one.<\/p>\n<p>Hilliard Bradley, Darby and Davidson are proud recipients of the Purple Star.
