Yearbook Picture Day:  On December 4th we will have Yearbook Picture Day. We will be taking photos of clubs and organizations for inclusion in our yearbook.

Chess Club will be meeting this Thursday after school from 3-3:30 in room 108, Mr. Byerly’s room. Bring $5 for pizza if you want to eat and have your ride here promptly at 4:30. See Mr. Byerly with any questions.

FCA, Fellowship of Christian Athletes:  Hey Heritage!!  FCA, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, will be meeting from 7 to 7:45 a.m. in room 108, Mr. Byerly’s room, this Friday morning. Come make some new friends, play some fun games and learn some cool stuff. You DO NOT have to be an athlete to part of the club!! See Mr. Byerly, Miss Litt or Mr. Stepp with any questions. Hope to see you Friday Morning.

Attention Panther Ambassadors!  If you are interested in helping at the Holiday Music Performance on Monday night, December 3rd, please sign up outside Mrs. Reasinger’s room.  Please remember our monthly meeting is Thursday, December 6th immediately after school in the Media Center.

SPORTS:
*The Heritage Girls Flex team defeated Polaris Christian 40-8. Olivia Coleman lead the panthers with 10 points, McKenzie Lozier with 8 and Aubree Murdock with 6. As a whole the girls played exceptional defense.

*The 8th Grade Boys Basketball Team opened up their season with a win at Pleasantview last night, 43-17. The Panthers got off to a slow start but outscored their opponent 28-7 in the second half. The Panthers will play their home opener this Thursday against Brookpark. Go Panthers!

*The boys 7th grade won last night over Pleasant View 41-10.  Leading the way scoring was Dominic Shaw with 13pts. and Mateen Javan with 10pts.  The team played great defense holding Pleasant View to 10 points and no points in the fourth quarter.  Their next game is at home vs Brookpark on this Thursday, 11/29.

*8th grade girls’ basketball team defeated Pleasant View Middle School 47-2.

*The Heritage Boys Flex Basketball team got their season off to a great start last night with a 45-16 victory over Polaris Christian Academy.  The Panthers were led in scoring by Collins Applegate with 10 points, but almost everyone on the team scored!  The Panthers take on Memorial on Thursday.  Go Panthers!!

Attention Girls:  Come and Learn Lacrosse!  No Equipment or experience required. (bring a stick if you have one) Grades 3-8 are welcome!

Battle of the Books:
Our next Battle of the Books practice will be after school next Monday, December 3 until 3:45pm. Be sure to bring your books you are reading for competition. All are still welcome to join. Please see Miss Stout if you have any questions!

Book Fair:
The Book Fair is back! HMS will be hosting a book fair from December 10-14th in the Media Center every day until 3pm! Stay tuned for more details!
