It’s time once again to join the student leadership group, E Pluribus Unum, Out of Many, One. In this opportunity, students have the opportunity to examine concepts of identity, empathy, and advocacy, as well as consider the positive power of inclusion so that everyone has a place and a voice at the table. Please consider participating in this opportunity as we reflect, dialogue and make changes for our school, community and ourselves. Your voice matters so why not “be the change”?! Hard copies of the invitation letter and permission slip are available in the Main Office. Permission slips are due back by October 1.
Should recreational marijuana use be legalized? Should the US take a stronger stance on climate change? Should a COVID vaccine be mandated? Do you enjoy discussing these and other issues of our time? If so, then the Davidson Speech and Debate Club is for you! The Debate Club is now meeting weekly, so join us after school Thursday (9/16) in room 202 to join the debate!

National Hispanic Heritage Month is a period from September 15th to October 15th that has been designated for recognizing the contributions and influence of Hispanic Americans to the history, culture, and achievements of the United States, Canada and Latin America. Today’s trivia is that the start of Hispanic Heritage Month is today- September 15th because it is the anniversary of independence for Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras and Nicaragua.
