CLUBS

New Student Mentors for the upcoming school year. Please do not forget to sign up on REMIND 101 by noon today. If you have questions, stop by guidance. This is the only way to communicate with you about training, who will be our leaders, upcoming information about new students and August mentor events.

GENERAL ANNOUNCEMENTS

We are looking for current juniors who will be the first in their family to attend a 4-year college/university. Mr. Woodford is hosting a 1st Generation College Student event on June 5. If interested, please see Mr. Woodford in the guidance office.

If you are looking for a summer job, don’t forget to check out the job board outside of the Guidance Office.

If you are interested in being a patient care assistant, please stop in guidance for more information.

Anyone looking for a really awesome job? Scene 75 Entertainment Center is opening up in the old MACY’S at Tuttle Mall and they are looking for bubbly, not shy, happy people. It is the largest indoor entertainment center in the United States with go-karts, drop tower, bumper cars, indoor roller coaster, laser tag and so much more. More information is available in the guidance office.

If you are taking AP or KAP Physics next year, there is a summer assignment. Please pick up a sheet describing the summer assignment on the wall next to the door to room 222. If you have any questions email Mr. Herring.

Future AP Lit Students: If you have not received your summer assignment, please see Mr. Maite or Mr. Owens ASAP.

SON Ministries Summer Lunch Camp will be starting soon and they are seeking teen volunteers to act as positive role models while playing and building relationships with the children. You will support the staff with camp operations including camp set up, clean up and running camp activities. You will receive a letter of recommendation which can be used for different service clubs, college and employment applications. This is a great opportunity. Don’t miss out.
