Come join French Club today after school in the Global Gourmet Room for our final meeting where we will be making crêpes and enjoying other French snacks and drinks to celebrate the end of the school year. All students taking French are welcome!

Are you interested in helping others and making new friends? If this is you, applications are now being accepted for Student Mentors. Are you wondering what this is? A Student Mentor is the very first connection that a new student makes when they enroll, who they can rely on for support, as they get used to our school. A few things you would be responsible for is a walk through of their schedule, a visit to the Media Center to get their iPad, and a tour of the school. If you like meeting and helping others, this may be the club for you. Applications are available on your Canvas page and the application deadline is Tuesday, May 24th. Please see Mrs. Mongolier in Guidance with any questions.

If you are interested in Hamilton tickets for next October 7th – please get your order to Mrs. Traucht no later than Wednesday May 18. Stop by room 121 or email with your questions and ticket orders!

GENERAL ANNOUNCEMENTS:

Students, if you are looking for a summer job, there is a local family looking for temporary childcare coverage June 13-July 1 while their regular nanny is on vacation. It is a nanny share with one other family with a total of four children- a 5 year old girl, 5 year old boy, 3 year old boy and 2 year old girl. The job is 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday in their home. They are open to hiring 1-2 students to watch all four children together. You would need to be able to prepare lunches/snacks, change diapers, and put children down for nap time. Otherwise, the kids are all easy going and love to play outside, play games, and make crafts. Please see Mrs. Clausen in the Main Office if you are interested as the family needs to get interviews scheduled ASAP!

Future AP Literature Students: Please make sure you get your summer assignment from Ms. Walker, Mr. Owens, or your current English teacher. A copy will also be posted to your “Class Of 2023” page on Canvas.

Seniors – iPad turn-in is tomorrow during your Government class. Please go to your Class of 2022 Canvas course and read the announcement for directions on how to back up any information you want to keep. Your accounts will be deactivated after graduation so do this now. If you don’t have Government, turn your iPad in during lunch, study hall, early out, etc.

Also, if you still have textbooks or outstanding materials from the Media Center return them ASAP. All materials and fees have to be taken care of prior to graduation.
