Spanish club will have a meeting on Tuesday, March 10th after school until 3:30 in room 212. We will be playing board games from Spain and Mexico. See you there!

Students, get ready for Spring Hope Week 2020 during the week of March 16-20, sponsored by your Davidson Hope Squad! Each day there will be a different dress-up theme, as well as a different way to spread kindness for one another. More details will be coming out for each day as we edge closer to Hope Week.

All 9th through 11th grade students should have received your course verification for next years scheduling. If you have not, please see your 3rd period teacher or come down to guidance. Any student wanting to make any changes or additions to their request need to see their counselor no later than Friday March 13th!

This Wednesday and Friday during all lunch periods there will be an improv workshop available for those looking to hang out and have some fun while learning a new skill. Anyone is welcome to come and this is a great opportunity to hone in your comedy skills in a judge-free environment. Talk to Mr. Crawford in room 70 for more details.

We have companies that are looking for employees. Twin Pines Landscaping is looking for help and this job can start now, go through summer and possibly into fall. Starting pay is pretty good on this job. Cookie Cutters on Hilliard Rome Road is looking for a part-time receptionist. Math skills and a friendly smile may get you this job. More information is posted on the job board outside of Guidance.

Attention sophomores, please make sure that you check your Canvas and/or the postings on the windows in the Commons for your room assignments for the PSAT test on Thursday morning. Testing begins promptly at 7:40am.

It is important that you be here and in your room assignments on time so that we can get testing up and going.

Things to remember leading up to testing:

-Standard testing will last 2 hours and 55 minutes (including breaks). If you receive accommodations, your testing sessions will last longer. Your testing proctor will review that information with you on test day.

-We will have pencils on hand, but if you would like to bring your own, please bring #2 pencils with erasers (no mechanical pencils!).

– An acceptable calculator, as no calculators will be provided!

-A snack or drink (will need to be stored under your desk during testing)

-You will not be permitted to have a SmartWatch on you, so if you have one, it will need to be kept in your backpack, along with your phone and any other electronic devices you may have.

If you have any questions leading up to test day, please see Mrs. Clausen.
