Rock and Roll, relationship issues, and a zombie! Auditions for this year’s spring musical, Zombie Prom, will take place on Tuesday Feb 4 right after school. Information packets are available from Mr. Crawford or Mr. Crowther.
Planning for Culture Day 2020 is underway and we love for you to help us make this event the best yet! We want your input and guidance to make sure we represent all the diversity within our school. If you are interested in participating in Culture Day 2020, please attend our planning meeting Thursday January 30th at 2:45pm in Rm 167.
Key Club will be having a general meeting today. We will be electing new officers at this meeting so please come to cast your ballot! You must have registration turned in for your vote to count! Everyone is invited to attend and we look forward to seeing you all there!
Environmental Club Elections will be held this Thursday, 1/30, after school. All candidates must fill out the google form posted on the remind and submit your presentation slide to run. We will hold interviews immediately after school on Thursday and begin the election process at 3. As always, all are welcome.
Interested in joining The Yearbook or The Wildcat News Magazine staff? Applications for 2020/2021 staff are available in room 244, 240, or under the student tab on the Davidson website. Remember, your application is due no later than January 31st. See Ms. Canlas or Mrs. Burke with any questions.
Attention students! Would you like to learn more about over 200 colleges nationwide by speaking directly with admissions representatives about their programs and campuses? Seniors- would you like to meet with financial aid specialists to help you understand FAFSA and your college financial award letters? If so, you need to attend the NACAC National College Fair at the Columbus Convention Center on Sunday, February 9th from 1-4 p.m. Register at gotomyncf.com.
Wildcats! Our coat drive has officially started, and will continue for the next 3 weeks. Please donate any new or lightly worn coats to be sent to the One Warm Coat foundation. You can drop your coats off in a bin located in the main office. If you have any questions please contact Ava Dvoraczky or Danish Bajwa.
Are you struggling with addiction and want to quit? Do you have a friend or family member struggling with addiction? Have you lost someone you love to addiction? If you would like to talk to someone about these concerns, we have a new Syntero Counselor that could help you. Please let your School Counselor know if you would like to be referred to her.
Attention current juniors and seniors. The Summer Leadership and Character Development Academy is a week-long immersive experience aboard Marine Corps Base Quantico. Throughout the week, the academy introduces you to the Marine Corps mission, core values, military culture and leadership principles. Dates are June 15th through June 20th. Applications are due by January 31st. If you are interested, see Mrs. Mongolier in the Guidance Office.
Any girl interested in playing soccer next fall should come to our informational meeting on February 18th at 6:30pm in the Commons! Go Cats!
The Annual Girls Lacrosse Spaghetti dinner will be this upcoming Saturday February 1st from 5-7.
Attention girls interested in trying out for softball this spring. There will be a mandatory tryout meeting on Thursday, February 6th after school in room 209. You must attend this meeting if you plan to tryout. If you have a question, see Coach Speakman in room 209.
Hilliard Wildcat Clay Club will have a mandatory parent and athlete meeting at Weaver on Tuesday February 4th at 6pm in room 146. Both boys and girls are welcome to participate on the team. No experience or equipment needed. If you have any questions contact Mr. Thompson at Weaver.
