The Hispanic Heritage month fact of the day is on September 21, 1981, Belize was declared an independent nation, free from Britain’s rule. Annually, to celebrate this historic moment, the entire month of September is filled with festivities, activities, and celebrations that show the citizens’ patriotism for the country.

Reminder from Mr. Ragland– Students are not permitted to walk around outside of the pit area during lunch. Students must be in the pit or in the courtyard during their lunch periods.

If you have a late in, or an ILC/HUB student, or need access to the building during the school day check in the main office for a key card. 

This Friday, September 22nd, the Life Skills Class will be selling brownies during lunch periods! Bring $1 and buy a brownie! 

Seniors the FIRST Graduation Meeting is next Monday, September 25, in the PAC.

The ASVAB test will be held on October 3rd at Bradley. It is open to current 10th, 11th, and 12th graders. Transportation is provided. Any questions ask your counselor or Ms. Monoglier.

To celebrate Homecoming Week, Student Council will be grilling Friday during all lunch periods. Come out and enjoy hot dogs, chips, and drinks! 

Homecoming is this Saturday. Tickets are $20 for Davidson students and $25 for guests. Guests must be current Hilliard City School high school students or alumni under the age of 21. Tickets are available for purchase on Local Level. 

Today is Disco Day, and Friday is Neon day!

Do you always win at Kahoot? Do you love games like Jeopardy and Trivial Pursuit? If you love trivia, then come join the Davidson Quiz Team to test your knowledge against your fellow students! We meet every Thursday after school in room 119, we hope to see you there!

Club Latino (aka Spanish Club) will host their first meeting on Tuesday, Oct 3rd after school in room 214. We will have a tres leches cake and play Lotería. All are welcome! If you have questions see Ms. Speakman in room 227 or Ms. Flanagan. 

The MSA will hold its first general meeting today  in room 202 at 2:45. All are welcome! 

Don’t miss the Drama Club meeting TODAY, right after school in room 70. We have a lot of great things to talk about and new members are welcome! See Mr. Crawford or a club officer with any questions!

Key Club is hosting a Pie in the Face fundraiser during all lunches this week. Bring in money for a chance to be entered to pie the winning teacher in the face! The teacher with the most money earned will be pied at the Pep Rally on Friday.

The Wrestling team will be holding open mats every Thursday from 3:30pm-4:30 pm in the wrestling room until the start of the season.
