CLUBS:

Hey Wildcats! Renaissance will be selling Homecoming Carnations during all lunch periods. The cost is $1. Show your friends how much you care.

Please join us today after school for a brief informational meeting about Future Medical Career Club at 2:45 in room 202!

A rampaging radioactive lizard. A gigantic gorilla. Join Davidson’s Speech & Debate club this Thursday after school, in room 219, as they grapple with one of the most important questions of our time: “Who would win in a fight: Godzilla or King Kong?!” All are welcome. Please contact Carter Gains or Mr. George for more details. Again, that’s room 219 after school Thursday to find out who will triumph, the God… or the King!

The first meeting of the CULTURAL FOOD CLUB will be this week on Thursday in the Choir room. It will be very short and will include our officer appointments and meeting schedule discussion. All are welcome! The meeting will start promptly at 2:40 and will not last longer than 10 to 15 minutes. Come check it out!

Ticket winners tomorrow will be decided at the pep rally during the dance off.

Homecoming tickets are now on sale! Head to the student council twitter page or locallevelevents.com to purchase yours now. Cash sales will be available during lunch today and tomorrow. Students are $20 a ticket, and guests are $25. If you’re bringing a guest, you must complete and return a guest form to the main office by TODAY!

Attention students who plan on bringing a guest to homecoming. If your guest is NOT a Davidson student, you and your guest are REQUIRED to complete a guest approval form. A copy of the form was shared through Canvas and is also available for pick up in the main office. Forms are due to the main office no later than Thursday, October 3rd. NO GUEST FORM = NO ENTRY.

The Senior Class of 2020 Panoramic Photo will be taken immediately after the Pep Assembly on Friday, Oct. 4th. All seniors should plan on going out to the Stadium is the weather is good. If not, we will take the picture in the gymnasium. Twin Studios will once again be taking the photo. You will be able to buy it form their website a few days later. Seniors don’t miss this event.

Muskingum University will be visiting on Friday. If you are interested in this school sign up today in Naviance.

Have you made a difference lately? No matter what your volunteer project is, feeding the hungry, supporting U.S. troops and veterans, collecting toys or clothes and giving them to children in need, the 2020 Prudential Spirit of Community Awards would like to hear about your project. Scholarship money at the state level is available as well as a chance to be a National Honoree with more scholarship money and recognition. Deadline is November 5th. See Mrs. Mongolier in Guidance for more information.

SPORTS:

Gymnastics Pre-Season Conditioning will begin on Monday Oct 7th.
It will be from 4:30-5:45 in the Hilliard Davidson Wrestling room.
Conditioning will continue on Mondays and Wednesdays through October 30th. 4:30-5:45 each day. This is not required – but strongly encouraged if you plan to tryout for the Gymnastics team. Go to www.hilliardgymnastics.org for more information about the program.

Open gym for boys volleyball starts this Sunday 10/6 from 7 to 9pm at Davidson main gym and will continue every Sunday at this time during the fall.

Presale Varsity Football tickets will be on sale this week in the Davidson High School Athletic Office for Hilliard Davidson vs. Central Crossing this Friday (10/4/19) at Davidson. Davidson Presale times will be Thursday 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and Friday 8:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Prices are $5.00 for Students and $7.00 for Adults. As always…………………GO CATS!
