It’s that time of year again and winter break is right around the corner. Get in the holiday spirit by coming to Debate Club this Thursday to argue whether or not there is a war on Christmas. Meet in room 219 right after school.
Join art club for our final meeting of the semester. We will be having a holiday party after school today in Room 161.
Key Club will be having a general meeting this Monday! Everyone is invited to attend and we look forward to seeing you all there!
Ski Club: If you are signed up for Mad River Mountain Ski and Board Club pick up your Sweatshirt TODAY after school in room 203. If you can’t make today after school get it Friday Before school
Attention students traveling on the Spain and Portugal Trip this Spring Break: There will be a mandatory meeting Wednesday December 11th at 6:00 p.m. for both students and parents in the Media Center.
Spirit Night – Be one of the first 100 customers to mention Hilliard Rowing at Wendy’s, 4245 Cemetery Road, Hilliard on December 5th from 5-8 p.m. and get free Frosties for a year!
Attention College Jump start students! As soon as you complete your final exam(s) PLEASE return your textbook(s) to the media center. You will not receive 2nd semester textbooks until your College Jump start textbooks are returned. Textbooks for 2nd semester will be checked out beginning Jan. 6, 2020.
Seniors: This is the LAST WEEK to turn in your senior pictures. Turn in your flash drive, CD, or hard copy to the senior picture box in the main office. The final deadline is December 6th!
Attention students! If you need eyeglasses, but do not have the finances or insurance to cover the exam and glasses, there is an organization offering these for free. Please see your counselor right away to learn more.
The food drive has started and word has it that Mrs. Kershner’s class has a lot of food that was brought in today, but then we heard that Mr. Parsell is getting his class fired up. Is Mrs. Kershner’s third period going to be able to retain their title from last year and keep the trophy? Maybe it will go to someone in the math department. Come on Wildcats, HELP US HELP OUR OWN this holiday season.
Five on Five Intramurals: Five-on-Five Intramurals will start in January, but now is the time to sign up. Get your team together, choose a captain, and get the Five-on-Five team forms from Mrs. Williams in Room 177. The team captain should collect the completed forms and money from the team players–$5 per person—and turn in the entire packet to Mrs. Williams. Only 16 teams will play, so get your team together ASAP. The registration deadline is Monday, December 16, at 12 Noon. No exceptions.
