Attention Sophomores and Juniors: Freshman Focus is back for next school year and we need leaders for camp and for the 2021-2022 school year. Join us for an informational meeting before or after school in room 202 April 8th, 9th, or 12th to learn more about the application process. You only have to attend one meeting. Questions, please see Ms. Cooper in room 207 or Mr. Assenheimer.

Art Club will meet after school today in Room 161. Bring a t-shirt if you didn’t get to print one yet!

GENERAL ANNOUNCEMENTS: 

Attention Students: Anyone interested in doing the Online Academy next year, the online registration is now open until Friday April 9th. You will have the option of going full time online or halftime. If you have questions, please stop down and talk with your school counselor.

Don’t miss Davidson Theatre’s performance of the awesome new Disney musical – Freaky Friday – streaming Friday-Sunday, April 16-18. Tickets to the stream are available at hilliarddavidsontheatre.com.

Seniors: We have a late-breaking scholarship opportunity! If you plan to become a teacher, you should check Naviance for the Kathy Ciamacco Memorial Scholarship. Applications are due to the Guidance Office by April 14th.

Seniors and Juniors, it’s time for Prom! Prom will be held at the Columbus Zoo on Saturday, May 8th from 6-9 pm, followed by After Prom at Dave and Busters from 10 pm – midnight. Prom tickets will be $65 and include a ticket to After Prom. This year, there will be 350 tickets available for purchase. Seniors will have first priority with ticket sales beginning on Monday, April 12th, followed by Juniors on Monday, April 19th. All students are limited to 2 prom tickets and will need to use their student ID to purchase through local level. All non-Davidson guests must complete a guest form and submit to Mr. Assenheimer by Monday, April 26th. Detailed information will be sent out through your class Canvas this week. This Friday, April 9th, is the LAST DAY to order a 2021 Davidson yearbook. Go to www.balfour.com before it’s too late!

With Davidson High School being a Purple Star School, we will be celebrating Ohio Military Family Spirit Week next week. From April 12 – 16, you can share your spirit and show your support of our Veterans, Active Duty personnel, their families and our students who are military connected by wearing the following next week. This will also support our seniors who have already enlisted in the Armed Services. You can share your pictures on your social media platform using #PurpleUpOhio and #InThistogether

Student council’s t-shirt design contest is now completed and t shirts are ready for orders! You can order them now from the QR code found on the student council bulletin board or from flyers you can find at your lunch table. The sale ends on Sunday, April 18th.

Come out and support AJ Glover’s family by eating at Beef O Brady’s at 6340 Scioto Darby Rd on Monday April 12th and Tuesday April 13th from 5-9 pm. 20% of all sales will be donated to the Glover family.
