The first American Sign Language Club meeting will be held after school on Monday, October 11, 2021 in room 202. All are welcome! We will be learning fall and Halloween signs. Please come join us and have some fun!

Join Art Club after school on Thursday in Room 161. We will be creating sketchbooks and pen drawings for Inktober!

Do you enjoy discussing local, national, and global issues? If so, then the Davidson Speech and Debate Club is for you! This week our topic is, “Should all recreational drugs be legalized for adults above the age of 18?” Join us after school Tuesday in room 202 to join the debate!


Tom Fears was the first Hispanic Pro Football Hall of Fame inductee in 1970.  From 1948 through 1956, Fears played wide receiver and tight end for the Los Angeles Rams. In his nine NFL seasons, Fears caught 400 passes for 5,397 yards and 38 touchdowns. Later in his life he became an assistant coach for the Rams and the Packers.  He was also an entrepreneur and military veteran.

Juniors and Seniors, here are the colleges that will be here starting on Tuesday. We have The Ohio State University, Wright State, Columbus State Community College, Ohio Northern, Kent State and Ball State. Many more schools have scheduled throughout October. The Weaver gymnastics team placed 5th in their meet versus Memorial, Heritage, Big Walnut, and Olentangy Berlin.  A great performance was made by Lucy Aichele on beam.  Alex Kim placed 1st on vault, bars, beam, floor, and in the all around.  Great job girls!!
