Good Morning, Hilliard Davidson!  Today is Monday, February 3, 2020, and these are your morning announcements.

CLUBS:

Rock and Roll, relationship issues, and a zombie! Auditions for this year’s spring musical, Zombie Prom, will take place on Tuesday Feb 4 right after school. Information packets are available from Mr. Crawford or Mr. Crowther.

ASL Club will meet on Wednesday, February 5 in room 202 from 2:45-3:30 p.m. Please note the change in date due to parent teacher conferences on February 12. Come join us for some snacks and signing!

Art Club will be meeting after school on Thursday in Room 161. We will be printing our club t-shirts, so please bring a light colored shirt if you’d like to make one!

GENERAL ANNOUNCEMENTS:

Attention students! Would you like to learn more about over 200 colleges nationwide by speaking directly with admissions representatives about their programs and campuses? Seniors- would you like to meet with financial aid specialists to help you understand FAFSA and your college financial award letters? If so, you need to attend the NACAC National College Fair at the Columbus Convention Center on Sunday, February 9th from 1-4 p.m. Register at gotomyncf.com.

Are you struggling with addiction and want to quit? Do you have a friend or family member struggling with addiction? Have you lost someone you love to addiction? If you would like to talk to someone about these concerns, we have a new Syntero Counselor that could help you. Please let your School Counselor know if you would like to be referred to her.

Congratulations to the Hilliard Davidson Winterguard. They competed at Westland High School in an Ohio Indoor Performance Association event. They had a strong showing and represented themselves and their school well!! Great job Guardies!!

SPORTS:

Any girl interested in playing soccer next fall should come to our informational meeting on February 18th at 6:30pm in the Commons! Go Cats!

All boys interested in playing boys volleyball this spring, there is a mandatory players only meeting on Tuesday February 4th after school in room 222. Any questions email Coach Herring, rusty_herring@hboe.org.

Attention girls interested in trying out for softball this spring. There will be a mandatory tryout meeting on Thursday, February 6th after school in room 209. You must attend this meeting if you plan to tryout. If you have a question, see Coach Speakman in room 209.

Hilliard Wildcat Clay Club will have a mandatory parent and athlete meeting at Weaver on Tuesday February 4th at 6pm in room 146. Both boys and girls are welcome to participate on the team. No experience or equipment needed. If you have any questions contact Mr. Thompson at Weaver.
