GENERAL ANNOUNCEMENTS:

Attention College Jump start students! As soon as you complete your final exam(s) PLEASE return your textbook(s) to the media center. You will not receive 2nd semester textbooks until your College Jump start textbooks are returned. Textbooks for 2nd semester will be checked out beginning Jan. 6, 2020.

Seniors: Please check the “Did not turn in Senior Picture” list across from the main office or outside of room 240 to be sure your photo was received. Even if you turned in a picture, you need to check this list! A few flash drives and CDs were turned in without a name or photo, so it is important to check this list. See Sally Sell or Mrs. Burke with any questions.

Attention students! If you need eyeglasses, but do not have the finances or insurance to cover the exam and glasses, there is an organization offering these for free. Please see your counselor right away to learn more.

Hello third period classes. There are just three days left until the food drive is wrapped up. A few food items that are need are: boxed potatoes, pasta, Manwich, jelly, pancake mix and syrup and Tuna Helper. Think about what you like to eat and bring it in. Every little bit helps.

If you took the ASVAB test, the results are in. You will be receiving those results on Wednesday during third period and a pass will be sent to you first period. Any questions, please see Mrs. Mongolier in the Guidance Office.

Attention Seniors: The deadline to order your cap and gown at a discounted price ends on 12/13. You can order online at jostens.com or call 1-800-567-8367.

Attention any students who were supposed to have taken AIR tests last week or this week and did not: make-up testing begins Wednesday morning at 7:40am in the Media Center. Please plan on showing up! See Mrs. Clausen for any questions or concerns regarding testing.

SPORTS:

Five on Five Intramurals: Five-on-Five Intramurals will start in January, but now is the time to sign up. Get your team together, choose a captain, and get the Five-on-Five team forms from Mrs. Williams in Room 177. The team captain should collect the completed forms and money from the team players–$5 per person—and turn in the entire packet to Mrs. Williams. Only 16 teams will play, so get your team together ASAP. The registration deadline is Monday, December 16, at 12 Noon. No exceptions.

The Gymnastics team kicked off the season with a strong start last Wednesday night with wins against Westland & Franklin Heights and narrow losses to Central Crossing & Grove City. The top performer of the evening was Hope Tageson. Other top finishes for the Wildcats included: Megan McCabe and Katelyn Crossin.
