CLUBS:

Should we replace the electoral college with the popular vote? Should we have more strict gun control laws? Should activities like band and cheerleading be considered sports? Do you enjoy discussing these and other issues of our time? If so, then the Davidson Speech and Debate Club is for you! The Debate Club has resumed meeting in person, so join us after school on Monday, April 26th in room 219 to join the debate!

Join us for chess club in room 222 after school on Tuesdays

GENERAL ANNOUNCEMENTS: 

Attention all AP students: Please check the windows in the Commons for all the information you will need to be prepared for testing which begins on Monday, May 3rd, including testing rooms and materials needed for test day. See Mr. Anderson with any questions.

Seniors and Juniors, it’s time for Prom! Prom will be a dinner and dance held at the Columbus Zoo on Saturday, May 8th from 6-9 pm, followed by After Prom at Dave and Busters from 10 pm – midnight. Prom tickets will be $65 and include a ticket to After Prom. Ticket sales are now LIVE with less than 10 tickets left! All students are limited to 2 prom tickets and will need to use their student ID to access tickets through local level. All non-Davidson guests must complete a guest form and submit to Mr. Assenheimer by TODAY. Please see Ms. Mowery or Mrs. Palus if you have any questions!

Seniors: Please check Canvas for your invitations to the Senior Academic Awards Program and for the Senior Scholarship Program, which are both on Tuesday, April 27. Only seniors receiving these awards will have the invitation.

More jobs are coming into Guidance. Check them out, they are outside of the Guidance Office window. One is for a company called Endless Summer and they clean swimming pools. Training, uniforms, tools and work truck provided. $14/hr and overtime pay is $21/hr. Enjoy the complimentary coffee, water, Gatorade and snacks each day.
The other is Raising Cane’s and they are hiring crewmembers. Good benefits are included and Raising Cane’s was recently voted in the Top 100 companies to work for in the United States.

Support your Student Council by getting your dinner on Wednesday, April 28th from Chipotle on Fishinger from 4-8 pm.
