For Native American Heritage month we honor Navajo code talkers. In World War I and World War II, Native Americans played a significant role as code talkers, leading to extremely successful communication operations.Their instrumental impact remained classified until 2002, when Congress acknowledged and celebrated the efforts of these brave soldiers, saying that at  “… a time when [American] Indians were discouraged from practicing their native culture, a few brave men used their cultural heritage, their language, to help change the course of history.”

ATTENTION ALL WILDCATS! TONIGHT, November 10th,  the Boys and Girls Basketball programs are holding their annual Wildcat Madness event. This is a meet the team event, starting with our youth programs and ending the night with our varsity programs. There will be interactive events and giveaways throughout the night! Doors open at 7pm. Please bring a canned food item or a winter clothes item for donation as entry to the event.

SENIORS! You’re invited to the Second Annual Cats-giving Luncheon on Thursday November 30, 2023 from 11:45am – 12:45pm in the Fieldhouse. Come share a meal with your friends. There will be activities, music, and a great time for all. Scan the QR code located outside the Main Office or on Davidson Social Media.

Student Council will be selling Grateful Grams during lunch next week.  Bring one dollar to send a card and candy to a friend.  The sale ends Thursday, and notes will be delivered during 3rd period on Friday.

The Chinese Club will meet after school at Room 210 today, November 10th. We will play Mahjong, a fun and popular classic Chinese game of strategy, skill, and summation. Come to play and have fun with your friends! See you there!

Wrestling practice will start on November 17th at 3:30pm -5:30 pm in the wrestling room.
