Attention Sophomores and Juniors: Freshman Focus is back for next school year and we need leaders for camp and for the 2021-2022 school year. Join us for an informational meeting before or after school in room 202 April 8th, 9th, or 12th to learn more about the application process. You only have to attend one meeting. Questions, please see Ms. Cooper in room 207 or Mr. Assenheimer.

Have we achieved gender equality? Which is better, big government or small government? Who would REALLY win, Godzilla or King Kong? Do you enjoy discussing these and other issues of our time? If so, then the Davidson Speech and Debate Club is for you! The Debate Club has resumed meeting in person, so join us after school on Monday, April 12th in room 219 to join the debate!


Attention Students: Anyone interested in doing the Online Academy next year, the online registration is now open until Friday April 9th. You will have the option of going full time online or halftime. If you have questions, please stop down and talk with your school counselor.

Don’t miss Davidson Theatre’s performance of the awesome new Disney musical – Freaky Friday – streaming Friday-Sunday, April 16-18. Tickets to the stream are available at

Seniors and Juniors, it’s time for Prom! Prom will be held at the Columbus Zoo on Saturday, May 8th from 6-9 pm, followed by After Prom at Dave and Busters from 10 pm – midnight. Prom tickets will be $65 and include a ticket to After Prom. This year, there will be 350 tickets available for purchase. Seniors will have first priority with ticket sales beginning on Monday, April 12th, followed by Juniors on Monday, April 19th. All students are limited to 2 prom tickets and will need to use their student ID to purchase through local level. All non-Davidson guests must complete a guest form and submit to Mr. Assenheimer by Monday, April 26th. Detailed information will be sent out through your class Canvas this week. This Friday, April 9th, is the LAST DAY to order a 2021 Davidson yearbook. Go to before it’s too late!

With Davidson High School being a Purple Star School, we will be celebrating Ohio Military Family Spirit Week next week. From April 12 – 16, you can share your spirit and show your support of our Veterans, Active Duty personnel, their families and our students who are military connected by wearing the following next week. This will also support our seniors who have already enlisted in the Armed Services. You can share your pictures on your social media platform using #PurpleUpOhio and #InThistogether

April 14 – Camouflage a.k.a “Digi” Day
April 15 – Statewide Purple Up! Day
April 16 – R.E.D. (Remember Everyone Deployed) Friday – Wear Red!

Student council’s t-shirt design contest is now completed and t shirts are ready for orders! You can order them now from the QR code found on the student council bulletin board or from flyers you can find at your lunch table. The sale ends on Sunday, April 18th.

Come out and support the AJ Glover Foundation by eating at Beef O Brady’s at 6340 Scioto Darby Rd on Monday April 12th and Tuesday April 13th from 5-9 pm. 25% of dine in, carry out and online ordering will be donated to the Glover family.

If you ordered a cap & gown or any Jostens’ items, and were not able to pick up them up on Tuesday, please stop in the main office.



Today the Girls and Boys Track program will compete for the first time in 770 days / 22 months!!! The Hilliard Premier meet begins tonight at Darby under the lights for the Distance Races and the Sprint and Field Event show case on Saturday morning at Davidson.
