Ski and Board Club- our first trip to Mad River is Thursday, Jan. 12. Make sure you have joined the remind to get your bus assignments. If you are renting from Mad River, it is very important you turn your rental form in to Mrs. Penzone in room 212. If you need any additional info- check on the google doc that has been shared via Remind. QR Codes for the google doc are outside rooms 212 and 202.

If you are considering a career in hair design, cosmetology or advanced cosmetology this visit just may be for you. Salon Institute will be visiting Davidson on Tuesday, January 10th during third period. Register for this visit with Mrs. Mongolier in the Guidance Office.
On January 10th, the girls and boys tennis teams will start weekly conditioning in the HD field house on Tuesdays from 7pm-8:30pm. If you are not in a winter sport and plan to play tennis, you are strongly encouraged to come. The HS boys tennis team will start weekly Open Courts from 3-4pm at The Racquet Club of Columbus on January 12th. Players are responsible for getting their own ride to and from The Racquet Club. If you need a ride, please reach out to Coach Murlin. This is a great opportunity for players to have indoor court space (for free) to practice tennis. Due to having indoor court space in the off season, challenge matches will start the first day of practice on March 6th. If you have any questions, please email shannonmurlin@hboe.org .
College Jumpstart students: If you still have not returned your textbooks to the media center from first semester, please do so today. Thank you!
If you wish to request that a book or resource not be checked out to your student from their Innovation & Discovery/Media Center, you must complete the form below. Each submitted form will accept up to 10 book titles/author’s names. Please go to the Destiny Discover catalog on your child’s school website under Academics > Innovation Discovery Center OR Media Center to verify that the book/resource currently exists at that location before submitting this form.
Your submission will be shared with your child’s school and added to your child’s information record in Destiny (Library Resource System) only if that item exists at that location. Items submitted through this form will be on your student’s Destiny record for the course of the current school year only. Should you wish to have books/resources exempt for your student next year, you will need to submit this form again for each item.
Seniors: This Wednesday, January 4th is the final deadline to submit a senior picture. The link to submit can be found on your senior Canvas page and on Davidson’s website. After January 4th, no pictures will be accepted.

The Hilliard City School District’s Curriculum Department is in the midst of a multi-year curriculum revision cycle for several content areas. An important part of this process is seeking input from our parents on what is important to them in each content area. The next content area that a district committee will revise is Mathematics.
