Tickets are $10 for Darby students only; Non-Darby guests are not permitted to attend. The movie begins at 7:00 PM at Huntington Park. Gates at Huntington Park will open at 6:00 PM – entrance to the park will be through the Home Plate Gate only. Paper or digital tickets and a student ID must be presented when entering. No re-entry will be permitted. Student pick up will be no later than 9:15 PM. CLICK HERE TO PURCHASE TICKETS  Enter your student ID number when prompted for an Access Code.

AP Testing Information
If your student is enrolled in an Advanced Placement (AP) course this year, you should be receiving a letter regarding AP Test registration procedures.  Please register via MyPaymentsPlus.  The registration window is open from September 21st to October 30th.  Each exam is $95.  Students who receive free/reduced lunch may test for free but must still register in MyPaymentsPlus.  Click here for the AP Exam calendar.

College Fairs and Admissions Representative Visits
The Ohio Association of College Admissions Counselors is hosting a series of virtual college fairs throughout the fall.  Below is a link to register!

  • Here is the link for student registration for the Virtual Experience.

Many college representatives are not traveling this fall, however Hilliard will host virtual visits with over 100 colleges throughout the new few months.  Below are the instructions for students to sign up. This is open to all three high schools in Hilliard.  We had to create an account for one school so that is why you will see “Davidson” as the host school.

  • Log into Naviance
  • Scroll down and click on “What’s New” on the right
  • Click on “Show more” to get the full list
  • You will see a “Register” button

Overdue Books
There are currently over 300 overdue books to the Media Center.  Many of these are from last year.  Please return these books as soon as possible.  Students will be charged for the books if they are not returned.

Student IDs at Lunch
Students need to have their student ID in hand when picking up lunch in the cafeteria.  Their ID has a barcode which can be scanned when they checkout.  This keeps the line moving faster and is safer than verbally giving the cashier their student ID number.  Due to COVID-19 precautions, students no longer key in their own ID number into a keypad.

PSAT – Juniors only
PSAT Registration will run from September 8 through September 28th. This year, this optional testing opportunity will be for 11th grade students only. Payments should be made in MyPaymentsPlus. This test provides 11th grade students with practice for the spring SAT and is also an opportunity to qualify for the National Merit Scholarship. This test will take place the morning of October 14th and the cost is $23.

Capstone Information
Capstone information is available on our website. This includes a Plan B for an option of a no contact experience! Please check it out and let one of the coaches know if you have any questions. You can e-mail the coaches directly from the website.

Parking passes are free.  To receive a pass, licensed drivers need to click here to complete the registration questions.   Please come to the main office to pick it up after you complete the form.  Officer Gleason will begin checking for passes next week.

We’ve had some questions about when the 19-20 yearbooks will be distributed.  The answer is, we’re not sure yet.  The books haven’t arrived at Darby.  Once they do, we will put together a safe plan for distributing them which will be posted on announcements and on our weekly eblast.  You can also follow this link for updates from our Yearbook staff.
