Key Club – September 5th
First Key Club meeting of the year will be held in room 151 on Tuesday, September 5th after school.

We will be selling beat Davidson Shirts during lunches on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday this week. They are $10 cash.

Math Club – September 8th
The first math club meeting of the year is this Friday! We will meet after school until about 3:45 pm in room 104. We will work on some challenging problems as well as discuss which competitions we will do this year. Questions, see Mr. Miller or Mrs. Sims. Be there or be a regular quadrilateral!

Fishing Club – September 11th
Fishing Club begins Monday September 11 from 5:00PM -6:00PM at Hilliard Municipal Park shelter house. Bring your poles and tackle for some fun in the sun. See Mr. Dickmann in Room 214 for details.

Homecoming Movie Night – September 11th
Put on your pajamas and join us for a night at the movies on Monday, September 11th featuring Grown-Ups. Tickets are $5 for Darby students only; Non-Darby guests are not permitted to attend. The movie begins at 8:00 p.m. in the grassy area behind the fieldhouse. Student pick up will be no later than 10:15 p.m.  Purchase tickets here.

Powder Puff Football Game – Wednesday, September 13th
The Powder Puff Football game will be held on Wednesday, September 13th at 7:30 pm.  Sign up to play by September 4th to ensure you receive the correct size t-shirt!  Participant registration is $15, which includes a t-shirt.

Homecoming Dance – September 16th
Join us for a night “Under the Stars”, Saturday, September 16th. The dance is from 7:30 PM – 10:00 PM at the Darby High School football stadium.

Tickets will go on sale at 3 pm on Friday.  They are $20 for current Darby students and $25 for guests who attend Bradley or Davidson High Schools.  Only current Hilliard City Schools students are permitted to attend.

Students are permitted to purchase one guest ticket per Darby attendee.  If a family has more than one child attending Darby, they will need to purchase tickets under individual Local Level log-ins or purchase tickets in the main office.

Theatre – Auditions for the Fall Main Stage production are happing soon! Tuesday, September 5th at 3:45 in the PAC. Info and asides (scripts to read for the audition) can be found on the Theatre Call Board in the Band hallway.  For more information, click here.

Brownies are back!
On Friday, September 1st, the Life Skills Classes will hold their first Brownie Bake Sale of the ’23-24 school year during all of the lunch periods or until they are sold out!! As the costs of materials continue to be high, brownies will be sold for $1.00/each! The proceeds go toward helping students in the Life Skills class with important tasks and activities. Bring your cash and stop by the table Friday… you don’t want to miss out on this tasty treat!!!

8/29/23 Innovation Campus Open House 
All families are welcome to tour the Innovation Campus on Tuesday, August 29th from 6:00-7:00 pm so that students can walk the buildings of their first semester courses. Many teachers will be on hand during this informal visit at either the Innovative Learning Center/ILC (5323 Cemetery Road) or at the Innovative Learning Hub/HUB (3859 Main Street). We hope to see you on the 29th!
