Hello, families!  As we begin the scheduling season, we would like to share with you some information about the Innovation Campus. We are excited to offer classes that complement the wonderful things going on at the home buildings and look forward to helping your student schedule for next year. Parents of Current 8-11th Graders: If you are considering the Online Academy for the 2024/2025 school year, please go to the Online Academy website to learn about our courses and the options for the year ahead. The Online Academy offers students three options: Full-Time, Half-Time, and A La Carte (1-2 online classes).

Whether selecting the Online Academy for a Full-Time, Half-Time, or A La Carte experience, we want to ensure you have the information you need to make this year-long commitment as the scheduling windows are about to open for next year. All students taking online classes will need to complete the Online Academy Intent and Course Selection form during their scheduling window.  This form will be available on the Online Academy website January 25 – February 23.

The winter Blood Drive will be held on Thursday, February 1st in the Main Gym. Signups for the Blood Drive will be open during all class periods in the Media Center January 10th-12th. Students ages 16 and up are eligible to donate! If you have questions please see Mrs. Stead in the Media Center or Mrs. Golden in room 242.

Hilliard Darby Theatre Presents – The Phantom Tollbooth
Friday, February 9th, 7 pm
Saturday, February 10th, 3 pm
Sunday, February 11th, 3 pm

Here are Milo’s adventures in the Land of Wisdom, where he’s forced to think about many new things. Milo learns of the argument between King Azaz and his brother, the Mathemagician, whose disagreement over words and numbers has led to the banishment of Princesses Sweet Rhyme and Pure Reason. Milo is dispatched to rescue the princesses from the Land of Ignorance. Armed with the knowledge and skills he picks up on his journey, Milo rescues the princesses. When he must return home, Milo bids farewell to his new friends, knowing his attitude toward learning will never be the same.

We will have a FREE senior photo sitting with HR Imaging in room 240 during 3rd & 4th periods (9:30-11:30) on January 26. This is only for the senior portrait section of the yearbook, and is available to any Class of 2024 Darby senior who does not have a portrait. We want to include you!
