Food Service Update from Aramark
General Manager, Food Services
Hilliard City Schools
Dear Hilliard City School Parent:
Food Service procedures will be the same as before the pandemic. After making their lunch or breakfast selections, students will enter their student Id numbers in pin pads and be processed by cashiers. Students who are not eligible for free or reduced price breakfast or lunch will pay for their meals. Parents are encouraged to deposit money in their child’s food service accounts to speed up serving lines.
We are happy to announce that students who are not eligible for free meals will pay the same price for lunch and breakfast as before the pandemic! Elementary lunch will cost $2.50 and secondary lunches will start at $2.75. Breakfast will be $1.00. With today’s inflation, our meal prices are a bargain, and we encourage students to participate in the program.
Students who are eligible for reduced price meals will receive breakfast and lunch free of charge!
If your student hasn’t tried breakfast in school, we encourage them to do so. A hungry student is a distracted student. Starting the day with a nutritious breakfast is the best way to prepare students for the learning environment. So please take advantage of this opportunity to help your child start the day off on the right foot.
We hope that you and your child have a great year! Please feel free to call me at 614-921-7492 with questions or comments.
