September Athletes of the Month

Gianna Finehout has been a leader on the Darby Girls Volleyball this season and in the Ohio Capital Conference. Gi leads our team in digs and aces this season and is 2nd in the conference for digs. She had a season-high 21 digs against Olentangy Berlin earlier this month. Gi’s grit and determination have inspired the Panthers to be on track for most wins since 2017. Congratulations on being Darby’s Athlete of the Month, Gi!

Tyler Mullen has had a great season this fall for the Darby Boys Golf team. While Tyler has led the team in scoring this year, he has also been a great teammate to his friends and a mentor to the newbies on the team. The chemistry of the team is at an all-time high and Tyler has had a lot to do with that. He can be found helping and encouraging his teammates at every turn. Good luck to Tyler and the team as they head to their sectional tournament on October 3 at Darby Creek Golf course.
