2022-23 Yearbook Distribution – October 17th
Yearbook Distribution Day for the 2022-2023 yearbooks will start at 10:15 on October 17, and last through lunches. Buyer lists and details on how to pick up your book are available in the Yearbook Canvas Corner, on our webpage: https://hilliarddarbyyearbook.weebly.com/claim-your-yearbook.html

Extra 22-23 yearbooks will be available while supplies last at $90 each cash or check payable to Hilliard City Schools.
*** This is not the current freshmen’s 8th grade book, or the yearbook that you may have purchased recently for the 23-24 school year.
Engineering Club – October 18th
The next meeting will he held on October 18th after school in room 143 until around 3:40. They will be discussing this year’s miniature bridge building competition. This competition will be held on February 2nd during the school day and is open to any member of the club. Teams of 2-3 people must be finalized as well as have a team name by October 18th for anyone who wants to participate.
Blood Drive – October 26th
The Blood Drive is Thursday, October 26 from 7:30 – 1:30 in the Field House (far court). If you’d like to donate, please sign up during your lunch period. PAWS Club will have a table at all lunches this week. Don’t have a lunch period? Check your Canvas messages. Remember you must be at least 16 years old – with parent permission – to donate.

Monday: PJ Day
Tuesday: Dress as desired future occupation
Wednesday: Dress in Pink (inspired by Mean Girls)

Columbus State Community College Visit
Juniors and Seniors you’re in luck! There is no school for you on October 20th and Columbus State Community College is hosting a visit from 9-noon. But you must register! See your school counselor with questions!
PSAT10 and PSAT/NMSQT
On Tuesday, October 24 all Sophomores will take the PSAT10, and any Junior that registered via MyPaymentsPlus will take the PSAT/NMSQT. On this date, we will run the adjusted bell schedule below:
7:40 am – 11:00 am Testing Time = 3 hours 20 minutes
11:04 am – 11:26 am Period 3
11:30 am – 11:52 am Period 4
11:56 am – 12:18 pm Period 5
12:22 pm – 12:46 pm Period 6
12:50 pm – 1:13 pm Period 1
1:17 pm – 1:40 pm Period 2
1:44 pm – 2:06 pm Period 7
2:10 pm – 2:32 pm Period 8
District Transportation will run at the normal times. Any student who is NOT testing and is in the building before 11am will have access to the Commons. We ask that once students enter the building, they do not leave until the end of the school day.
