Hey, Jaguars! Are you interested in attending the first ever Bradley Leadership Retreat?!

When: Saturday, November 17th – Sunday, November 18th

Where: YMCA Camp Willson in Bellefontaine, Ohio

Why: To learn how to build upon your leadership skills – Confidence, Creativity, Courage, Communication, Collaboration

HOW TO APPLY: Visit the “Leadership Retreat” module in your Class of 2019, 2020, or 2021 Canvas page and fill out an application!

Most keycards are in.  Stop in the Main Office to see if yours is here yet.

If your parent paid for parking (or enter your car info online if you have a white card), please stop in to see Mrs. Kaufman in the Main Office for your tag.

If you are driving to school, you will need to purchase a parking tag.  $36, $18 for Blue Renaissance cardholders, Free for White Renaissance cardholders.

We have a new attendance email, HBRAttendance@hboe.org, please use this for Attendance Purposes (absences, early dismissals, attendance questions).  This email is monitored at all times by multiple people.  If you still need to reach Jenifer Ziessler for non-attendance related issues, her email is Jenifer_ziessler@hboe.org.

In the fall, representatives from various colleges and universities come to Bradley to share information with juniors and seniors.  If you are interested, please sign up through Naviance.  You will receive a pass the morning of the visit to attend.  Limit of 5 visits with deadline of one day in advance to register.  Check this list on Naviance for frequent updates.

Informational Meeting– Spring Break 2019 Tour to Italy and Spain

Student Panel for Intramural Sports

 

Are you interested in intramural sports? Mr. Gmerek is looking for a panel of 10 students for intramural sports. The role of these students would be to help determine what sports to offer, create rules and guidelines for the sports, and to help promote and recruit students for intramural sports. If you are interested in joining this committee, please stop by room B252 and see Mr. Gmerek!

 

CLUBS

 

Interact Club Meeting: Thursday, September 6, at 2:45 PM, in C285.  This is a service club that participates in activities that benefit our schools, community and world.  Come to our first meeting to learn more about the club and pick up a membership form (also available at B271).

 

Do you enjoy trying different types of arts and crafts? Then DAB (Design Advisory Board) club is for you!

Please join us for our first meeting in SC240, at 2:45, on September 7th.

We will be decorating our jaguar for Homecoming!

Jags Of Clay

 

Attention any student interested in joining Bradley’s Clay Club.  All are welcome and you don’t need to be in a ceramics class to join.  Learn about clay and throwing on the wheel and make some new friends.  We will have our first meeting on September 10, after school, in room C105.  Hope to see many of you there.

ATHLETICS

Boys Golf – The JV Boys Golf team will travel to Darby Creek Golf Course.

 

Girls Golf – The Varsity Girls Golf team will travel to Cooks Creek for an OCC match.

 

Girls Tennis – The JV Girls Tennis team will host Dublin Jerome, and the Varsity Girls Tennis team will travel to Dublin Jerome.  Matches are scheduled to begin at 4:00.

 

Girls Soccer – The JV and Varsity Girls Soccer teams will host DeSales.  JV will play in the Memorial Stadium at 7:00 pm, and the Varsity will play in the Bradley Stadium at 5:30 pm.

 

Boys Soccer – The JV and Varsity Boys Soccer teams will host Gahanna.  JV will play in the Memorial Stadium at 5:30 pm, and the Varsity will play in the Bradley Stadium at 7:00 pm.

 

Girls Volleyball – The Freshman, JV and Varsity Girls Volleyball teams will host Delaware Hayes.  Freshman and JV will begin at 5:30, followed by the Varsity at 7:00.

 

 

Announcements

 

Football – Pre-Sale tickets for this Friday, August 31st game with Stow-Munroe at Ashland University will be on sale in the athletic office from 9-5 on Thursday and 9-1 on Friday.  Adults are $7.00 and Students are $5.00.  Get your tickets early to avoid long lines at the gates!!  Go Jags!

 

Student Spirit Bus – Friday, August 31 – Come join your fellow classmates on a fun trip up to Ashland University to cheer on your Varsity Football Jags!!!  Pick up your permission slip in the athletic office and return completed with $5.00 for your ticket as soon as possible.  Seats are limited – get yours today!!!  Go Jags!!
