Fifth grade students at Hoffman Trails have been working diligently to learn good research skills. After working through the process and after becoming “experts’ on a topic they created a presentation to be shared in an “EdCamp” format. Similar to Hilliard University offered to teachers, audience members had specific sessions they could choose from. Students from several grade levels came to listen and learn from these presentations. Topics included the Joplin tornado, skin cancer, dyslexia, digital footprint, famous people and more. This was a great way to personalize learning and a wonderful experience for all!
