Director of Student Well-Being Wins Statewide Award

Mr. Abraham receiving the award

We are proud to announce that Mr. Mike Abraham has won the Franklin B Walter Outstanding Educator Award. This award is presented annually by a group of statewide organizations consisting of the Ohio Coalition for the Education of Children with Disabilities, Buckeye Association of School Administrators, Ohio Educational Service Center Association and Ohio School Boards Association. The award is named after the late Dr. Franklin B Walter, former State Superintendent of Public Instruction, who provided outstanding education leadership for Ohio Schools.

Mr. Abraham won this award for his work as a District Special Education Coordinator. Beginning this summer, he will begin work as our District’s first Director of Student Well-Being. We are proud of the work he has already done for our students, and looking forward to the amazing work he will do in his new role.
