Monday, May 14th the Hilliard Davidson Honors Science 9 students participated in a Science Symposium where each student offered debatable scientific topics to an authentic audience of peers, parents and teachers. It was an academic celebration of their knowledge. There were 110 students filling the halls of Davidson with interesting and thoughtful presentations. Each student conducted extensive research through the school year and had the opportunity to summarize and condense their topic into a ten-minute presentation. In a continuing effort towards meeting the diverse learning needs of students, this event was a showcase of Blended Learning, where students had the opportunity to connect their classroom lessons to a topic of their interest, passion, and choice. The students did an amazing job!
