Abby Killilea was a leader on Darby’s Gymnastics team this season. She was named team MVP and earned District Honorable Mention by placing 5th on the Beam and 7th All-Around. Abby was a major contributor of team points for Darby’s 15 wins this season. Her hard work and dedication paid off by qualifying for States in the Beam and All-Around. Congratulations on being named March Athlete of the Month.
Carter Slubowski had a great senior year with the Darby Panthers Wrestling Team. Carter’s record was 35-7, he was a Sectional Champion, took 3rd in the District and was a State Qualifier. He led the team in wins, nearfalls, takedowns, major decisions, tech falls and match points. He was named team MVP. For a career he had 106 wins and is 5th all-time at Darby in career nearfall points. Carter had more 0ff-season matches than anyone on the team, including wrestling at Disney. He also didn’t miss an offseason lift all spring, summer and fall. Congratulations Carter!
