2016 Graduate and Valedictorian Amraha Nadeem spent time with 100-second grade students this week. She is a student at The Ohio State University now and gave a presentation on the brain, complete with real samples of rat and goat brains. The students learned that the brain is fueled by glucose and learned the different areas and functions of the brains. Amraha talked about why she is so excited to study neuroscience saying it’s because doctors know a great deal about the brain but there is still so much more to learn.
