The Columbus Blue Jackets partnered with Bradley’s Introduction to Engineering students to excite students about STEM, or Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics. The Blue Jackets invited schools around Columbus to spend the day at Nationwide Arena. There the students were able to engage with professional engineers in the Columbus community, and with technology workers. They were able to discuss first hand knowledge of the jobs available in those careers while also learning what it takes to be successful. The students also had a chance to skate on the main ice, tour the arena and stay for the evening game. Giving students the opportunity to follow their passion while learning what all is involved prepares them to be Ready for Tomorrow.
