Virtual Board Meeting

The Hilliard School Board of Education meeting scheduled for Monday, August 10, 2020, at 6:30 p.m. will be via video conference due to the COVID-19 pandemic. In accordance with the guidelines in H.B.197, the Ohio General Assembly and Attorney General have approved the use of virtual meetings as a viable alternative to conducting public hearings during this time, and the district’s alternative complies with the new statutory directives.

If you would like to submit public comments, please send your comments in an email to by 6pm on August 10. Comments must be kept to three minutes. All submitted comments will be read live during the zoom. You must include your name and address per Board policy.

We will be broadcasting the meeting via Zoom Monday, August 10 at 6:30 pm.

To Join from a PC or a Mac: 

  1. An account is not required to join the Zoom meeting.
  2. Click on the web address.
  3. Install the Zoom app when requested.
  4. After installation, the Zoom app should launch automatically.
  5. When prompted, open [ app] or [Open Zoom Meetings]
  6. If prompted, enter the Meeting ID number (85682507074) and Password (board2020).
  7. When prompted, click the [Join with Computer Audio]

To Join from an iPad:

  1. An account is not required to join the Zoom meeting.
  2. Download the Zoom Cloud Meeting app to their iPad.
  3. Click or tap on the web address.
  4. The Zoom app should launch automatically on the iPad.
  5. If prompted, enter the Meeting ID number (85682507074) and Password (board2020).
  6. When prompted, click the [Call using Internet Audio]
