I started my career in the Columbus Public Schools teaching 3rd grade at North Linden Elementary. After teaching in Columbus for two years I was hired by Hilliard City Schools in 2000 to teach 4th and 5th graders at Alton Darby Elementary. This has been my home since the opening of the building. Currently, I teach 5th graders here and enjoy working with this age group because of their curiosity and excitement about learning.
I live in the Worthington City School district with my wife Sarah and have three sons Lance, Logan, and Landon. My wife is a kindergarten teacher at Colerain Elementary in Clintonville. In my free time, I love spending time with family, beach vacations, volunteering at our church, and backpacking when I get the chance. After 20 years of teaching, I continue to hope that I can come along side students and help nurture their natural curiosity and excitement about learning.
